Spicy Dry Rubbed Chicken Wings

Ingredients

Chicken Wings
broken down if whole, tips removed

garlic powder

tsp
onion powder

tsp
ancho chile powder

tsp
chipotle chili powder
1/2
tsp
smoked paprika
1/4
tsp
cayenne pepper
omit if you don't want it extra spicy

Instructions
Breakdown chicken wings if they aren't portioned already.
Place a cooling rack on top of a baking sheet.
Pat the wings dry and place on cooling rack on baking sheet
Let air dry in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
While the wings are drying combine all spices in a small bowl.
Stir to mix evenly.
Once the chicken is dried preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Take chicken out of fridge and place in a bowl.
Add the seasonings and mix together to make sure each wing is evenly coated.
Wash the pan/cooling rack.
Spray the cooling rack and place chicken back on
Cook in oven for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and flip chicken
Place back in over for 15-20 minutes.
Serve with your favorite ranch or buffalo sauce!
Notes
Depending on the amount of chicken wings you have you might need to double the spice mixture.
