These protein balls are my kids #1 snack of choice. I always have a container in my fridge ready for them to grab and go.
I’ve tried so many different combos of add-ins but this basic recipe never, ever fails. It’s true what “they” say, less is more!
With only 4 ingredients (unless you want different add-ins) and a prep time of 5 minutes it’s surely one of the easiest snacks to make for you and your kids. Feel free to sub the Sunbutter for your favorite seed/nut butter, or switch out the add ins to your families likes!
Quick and Easy Protein Balls
Servings 14 protein balls
Ingredients
- 1 c Quick cook oats
- 1/4 c Honey
- 1/4 c Sunbutter or any seed/nut butter you like
- 1/4 c Enjoy Life mini chocolate chips or any cholocate chips
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Stir until the oat mixture is well combined.
- Roll a tbsp of oat mixture into a ball and place in storage container.
- Store in fridge for up to a week.
Notes
Be sure to add any add-ins your kids will eat! Raisins, craisins, chia/flax seeds, get creative!
I also highly recommend rolling these with wet hands. I usually just run my hands under my sink, get off any excess water and then start rolling. This helps the mixture not stick to your hands.
